Responsibilities.
- Manage the full employee lifecycle, including recruiting, onboarding, retention, benefits, and offboarding, along with the employee learning, development, and performance program.
- Provide human resources advisory support on leave and health issues, performance management, grievances, organizational changes, other employee relations matters.
- Assist in managing Biohabitats' people and culture programs, including the DEI program; internship program; sustainability and environmental impact programs; and team member wellbeing program.
- Assist in updating and interpreting Biohabitats' policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Work with consultants and vendors that support people and culture programs.
Qualities, Experience, and Knowledge
- Experience in employee lifecycle management, including recruiting, onboarding, benefits, and offboarding.
- Experience in learning, development, and performance management.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
- proficient with MS 365 suite and/or related software.
- Proficiency with or ability to quickly learn HRIS.
Years of Relevant Experience
5-10 years of relevant experience in human resources and/or people and culture role
Education
Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field
Salary Range
$80,000 - $100,000
Location
Baltimore, MD (other Bioregion offices considered)
