We are looking for a hands-on Sr. Supply Chain Manager to lead the evolution of Biolab Sciences through the development of best-in-class supply chain planning processes. You will be responsible for identifying, sourcing and aligning the company’s inventory (raw material supply and finished goods production) with customer demand. Furthermore, you will play a key role in establishing make vs buy strategies for technologies in different phases of the Product Development Process. Your experience and competencies will be leveraged to establish the right key performance indicators that best align with the companies stage in our journey towards operational excellence.

Essential Functions
Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP):
- Lead S&OP meetings including, demand planning, capacity planning, supply chain planning and S&OP Meeting.
- Perform regular demand reviews with Sales, Marketing, Clinical and Product Development to meet Forecast Accuracy targets.
- Ensures availability of materials and maintains appropriate inventory levels to meet business needs. Responsible for integrating forecasts developed through S&OP into buy plans.
- Develops systems to measure and maintain accurate inventory levels and reports discrepancies as part of reconciliation processes.
- Works with quality and identifies supplier requirements and conducts supplier assessments for production capacity, capabilities, long term viability and quality.
- Plans, coordinates and oversees all material and product receipts and shipments both domestically and internationally. Negotiates best transportation rates for material movements and consolidates shipments for maximum value. Responsible for inbound and outbound transportation.
- Monitors supplier spending and continuously evaluates options and opportunities to reduce total cost of the product without impacting quality.
- Supports R&D and Manufacturing teams to negotiate favorable contracts including service providers (sterilization, testing and engineering) and sub-tier component cost.
- Continuously collaborates with strategic supply chain partners and CMO to optimize COGS and parts availability.
- Works closely with finance to ensure invoicing occurs in a timely manner. Provides regular updates regarding inventory valuation, cycle counts, inventory turns, materials invoicing and committed expenditures.
- Develops, deploys and monitors supply chain continuity plans utilizing risk based approach.
- Leads initiative to optimize and improve use of MRP/ERP system throughout the company in order to increase cross-department communication and efficiencies.
- Responsible for procurement activities. Issues and tracks weekly purchase orders and works closely with vendors to support on-time delivery while optimizing cost and inventory
- Leads a team that performs resource planning for fulfilling the material needs of Biolab Sciences and its partners. Ensures the team is adequately staffed and trained to meet strategic and functional goals.
- Monitors the team’s progress against departmental goals. Leads regular team meetings to address operations topics, material needs, improvements and projects that require monitoring and resolution.
- Responsible for purchasing, shipping and receiving.
- Establishes strong working relationships with Biolab Sciences CMO’s and other suppliers in the value chain to ensure continuity and build a robust supply chain.
- Develops and maintains SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures), Work Instructions and Policies to create and maintain assigned business processes.
- Active participant in quality initiatives. Attends and is a key member of MRD, NCR, SCARs and other quality feeding systems.
- Travels up to 25% of the time to visit suppliers and business partners and perform other business activities.

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree in a relevant field is preferred.
Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain management in the biotech, health, or regenerative medicine industries including 2 years of management experience.
- Experience implementing, managing and maintaining manufacturing ERP systems required.
- Certification (APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional) preferred
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt preferred
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Excellent problem-solving and risk management abilities.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
