About the Role
We are seeking a Medical Plasma Specialist to join our team at BioLife Plasma Services. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting plasma center operations and ensuring the highest quality of care for our donors.
Responsibilities
- Determine donor eligibility and conduct medical evaluations to ensure safe plasma collection.
- Manage donor adverse events and provide guidance on emergency procedures.
- Review laboratory test results and notify donors of unsuitable findings.
You will work closely with our Center Manager and Center Physician to ensure seamless operations and exceptional patient care.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Current licensure as an LPN or LVN in the state where responsibilities will be assigned.
- CPR certification and basic IV therapy skills.
- Two years of experience in a clinical or hospital setting.
- The ability to speak and read English fluently and proficiently, as well as Spanish.
