As a Medical Support Specialist at BioLife, you will play a vital role in supporting plasma center operations. You will work under the guidance of the Center Manager and under the management of the Center Physician for medical issues. Your expertise will be essential in determining donor eligibility, managing donor adverse events, reviewing laboratory test results, and notifying donors of unsuitable test results.
The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background, preferably in a hospital setting, and be licensed or certified as a Registered Nurse (RN), Nurse Practitioner (NP), or Physician Assistant (PA). You will be responsible for fulfilling state requirements for basic IV therapy, completing FDA-approved training requirements, and maintaining current certifications, including Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and AED certification.
