BioLife Plasma Services is seeking a highly skilled Medical Support Specialist to join our team and contribute to the success of our plasma collection centers. As a registered nurse or nurse practitioner, you will be responsible for evaluating donor reactions, managing employee incidents, and providing medical support to donors.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate donor reactions and provide medical support as needed.
- Manage employee incidents and determine whether further evaluation is required by occupational health/ER.
- Support the Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu vaccination programs for employees as applicable.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A high school diploma or equivalent, including graduate equivalent of a recognized educational nursing program with state requirements.
- Registered Nurse (RN), Nurse Practitioner (NP), or Physician Assistant (PA) licensure.
- Fulfill state requirements for basic IV therapy.
- Satisfactorily complete FDA-approved training requirements for BioLife Medical Support Specialist.
