Job Description
Sample Processing Specialist
We are seeking an experienced Sample Processing Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for preparing plasma units for freezing, testing, and shipment.
Your duties will include:
- Preparing plasma units for frozen storage
- Collecting and storing samples from plasma units for testing
- Maintaining the freezer and refrigerator temperatures
- Removing ice buildup and performing routine maintenance
- Preparing frozen plasma units and samples for shipping
- Organizing plasma boxes/documents for scheduled shipments
- Managing supplies and assisting with inventory control procedures
You Will Thrive If:
- You have excellent customer service skills and a passion for working with people
- You are detail-oriented and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- You are comfortable working in a production environment that requires standing and walking for extended periods
- You are able to lift up to 26 lbs. and occasionally lift materials up to 50 lbs.
