Compensation: $20/hour, paid in bi-monthly installments. A travel stipend will be provided to cover travel to and from work. Health benefits are not provided.

This Role
BioLite is looking for a passionate Electrical Engineering intern to join our Product Development team. In this paid internship, you'll learn necessary skills and work with experienced engineers to help design, test, debug, and improve BioLite’s next generation of consumer products. You will work with a motivated product development and manufacturing team to develop and test energy products used all over the world, from California to Nigeria.

This Role
BioLite is looking for a passionate Electrical Engineering intern to join our Product Development team. In this paid internship, you'll learn necessary skills and work with experienced engineers to help design, test, debug, and improve BioLite’s next generation of consumer products. You will work with a motivated product development and manufacturing team to develop and test energy products used all over the world, from California to Nigeria.
You Will
- Work with Electrical engineers to perform final qualification and bring-up of power electronics in our Backup Product Family
- Learn electrical hardware design and test techniques
- Support prototype development and validation testing of new products
- Analyze test data and prepare technical documentation
- Participate in design reviews and engineering team meetings
- Document findings and contribute to technical specifications
- Help troubleshoot and debug electronic systems and components
- Help with prototype manufacturing and rework
- Integrate and qualify lithium-ion batteries into consumer electronic prototypes such as power banks and lighting products.
- Be assigned independent investigative engineering tasks that provide insight into suspected failure modes of products and asked to provide a summary and recommendations of findings.
- You are pursuing or have recently completed a BS in Electrical Engineering or related field, or relevant work in a related field, or a strong portfolio of personal electronics projects
- Familiarity with circuit design basics, core electronics principles, and electrical device characteristics
- Experience with basic lab equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies)
