Compensation: A base salary range of $100,000-$120,000 gross per year, depending on candidate experience.

This Role:
BioLite is looking for a passionate Test Engineer to develop and lead testing capabilities within our Product Development team. You will help ensure the quality and reliability of our electronics, working across board-level circuitry, automation, and validation processes.
You will create test plans, automate validation equipment, and develop testing strategies—with a focus on power and consumer electronics. Your technical expertise, attention to detail, and commitment to high-quality outcomes will help deliver reliable products to our customers. You will contribute to testing improvement while keeping the customer experience at the forefront.
You Will:
- Implement continuous improvement of existing test methods and reporting through collaboration with partners
- Champion internal testing programs that improve the team’s capabilities
- Maximize value from test equipment and resources through automation and logging
- Be the primary contact for outside testing organizations, labs, consultants, and teams
- Oversee product requirement validation through thoughtful design of test and informed feedback
- Help ensure customer satisfaction through considered use case testing
- Document testing SOPs, establishing comprehensive test practices and methodologies
- Work with other Product Development team members to ensure agreement between test methods and design intent
- Produce reliable and traceable reports and other results
- Manage testing equipment in lab area
- Troubleshoot and repair test equipment/fixtures
- Manage simultaneous testing efforts, delivering reliable results
- Assist the Quality, Engineering, and other teams with testing projects and different technical efforts
- Take on other responsibilities as assigned
You Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field; OR an Associate’s degree with 2 years of experience
- Experience with standard test equipment and board-level electronics
- 2 years of experience writing automated test code in Python or another programming language
- Experience writing automated test code to control equipment and process test results
- Knowledge of consumer electronics, power systems, and IoT technologies
- Hands-on experience with lab equipment such as multi-meters, electronic loads, power supplies, and data acquisition tool
- Previous experience with design of consumer products (working with batteries, lights, power conversion) a plus
- Take full ownership of the testing process including: test setup, execution, and documentation, ensuring accuracy in methods, protocols, and results
- Proactively identify issues and driving resolutions
