Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role located in Cary, NC, with some work from home acceptable, for an Oncology Telehealth Nurse. The Clinical Case Educator will be responsible for providing telehealth services, supporting patients undergoing oncology and/or hematology treatments, and delivering personalized patient care. Day-to-day tasks include counseling and educating patients about their medications and therapies, managing side effects, developing care plans and coordinating care with other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive patient support.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years Hem/Onc Nursing Experience preferred and/ or acute health care setting
- Experience in telephone triage, case management, patient education is a plus
- Patient Care skills and a passion for delivering personalized care
- Excellent communication and virtual consultation skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in using telehealth technology and electronic health records
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Nursing; oncology certification is a plus
- Current RN license in the state of North Carolina (Multistate)
- Experience in the specialty pharmacy or oncology settings is beneficial
