Description
The Senior DevOps (Development Operations) Engineer will bridge the gap between development and operations, ensuring seamless integration, deployment, and monitoring of software systems in a secure manner. With a background in deploying, managing, and optimizing cloud-based systems in a secure and auditable manner, the Senior DevOps (Development Operations) Engineer will support BioMADE's digital infrastructure projects.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and reliable infrastructure using cloud-native technologies, ensuring adherence to security best practices.
- Develop and maintain CI / CD pipelines with embedded security gates to ensure secure deployment processes.
- Automate tasks like infrastructure provisioning and deployment.
- Monitor system performance and security, troubleshoot issues, and implement measures to protect against threats.
- Continually optimize the systems for efficiency and scalability.
- Collaborate with other members of the Data and IT teams to design and implement secure deployment models and approaches.
- Maintain accurate roadmaps, technical documentation, and incident post-mortems with a focus on security improvements.
- Other duties as assigned.
