What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production/Warehouse Associate position at BioMass Minerals Inc.?
Vital Earth Minerals is a 20-year-old manufacturer of high-quality liquid supplements in Grand Junction, Colorado. We are looking for a Production/Warehouse Associate to join our small team. This position will be involved in all aspects of the production, bottling, and shipping of our products.
Manufacturing duties include:
- Assist Production Manager with daily operations:
- Daily operation of bottling equipment, forklifts, pressure washers, pumps, and other various equipment
- Oversee the ongoing cleaning, sanitizing, and maintenance of all production equipment and facilities
- Complete cleaning logs and other documentation required by cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practices) and FDA regulations
Warehouse duties include:
- Ability to load/unload trucks with forklift and/or pallet jack
- Assist with periodic inventory of raw ingredients, packaging materials, and warehouse stock
- Pack, label, and mail individual orders
- Prepare palletized purchase orders for shipment
- Facility Inspection - snow shoveling, weed picking, pest control
General requirements:
- Hygienic Mindset: Clean hands, hair, clothes, mannerisms, etc. (GMP regulations require all jewelry be removed during manufacturing processes)
- Ability to work on a team with other company employees in a friendly manner
- Ability to lift 50 lb boxes repeatedly
- Ability to maneuver loaded pallet jack (2000 lbs)
- Ability to operate forklifts and acquire company certification
- Must be cGMP certified (Company Provided)
- Must comply with all company policies, GMP, and FDA regulations
- Must be able to pass a random drug screening per incident
- A background check may be performed
On-boarding:
All trainees will be subject to a 30 day on-boarding/training period, as well as a 60 day trail period after which a performance assessment will be conducted.
- Primarily shadow training and written training guides
- Trainer demonstrates associate duties and expectations under close trainee observation
- Training modules include Basic Facility Maintenance, Raw Material Handling, Bottling Sessions, Forklift Operation, Hygiene Mindset, Equipment and Personal Safety
Within 60 Day Trial Period Trainee Displays:

Pay and Schedule:
This position starts at $18.00 to $20.00 per hour, depending on experience. The hours will range from 32 to 40 hours per week. The typical schedule will be Monday through Thursday, 8am to 4pm, with some Fridays required. We are closed weekends.
