Courier/Delivery Driver

Job Description:
A leading medical lab is seeking a dependable Medical Lab Courier for evening shifts. The role involves the timely and secure transportation of medical specimens, lab supplies, and reports between healthcare facilities and the lab. This position requires the highest levels of care and professionalism to ensure the integrity and accuracy of transported materials.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely transport medical specimens, lab supplies, and documents between various medical facilities and our lab.
• Ensure the integrity and timely delivery of all specimens and supplies.
• Follow specified routes and schedules to meet delivery timelines.
• Maintain accurate records of all pickups and deliveries, ensuring proper documentation is completed.
• Adhere to all healthcare protocols for handling medical specimens to avoid contamination or damage.
• Conduct routine checks on the company vehicle to ensure it is in proper working condition.

Requirements:

• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Drug test required prior to hire and random.
• Clean driving record with no major violations.
• Ability to handle and transport medical specimens with care and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with healthcare protocols and procedures for specimen handling (preferred but not required).
• Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work evening shifts (2:30 PM – 10:30 PM).
• Arkansas State Highways knowledge is preferred.
• Ability to lift and carry packages (up to 50 lbs).
• Previous experience as a medical courier or in a similar healthcare-related role is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
