Description Of Responsibilities
- Maintain Calibration Log
- Perform calibrations per Calibration Procedures
- Perform calibrations per Calibration Master Log / Schedule
- Coordinate calibrations with Production and Engineering Departments as needed
- Document calibrations and prepare calibration reports, as required
- Schedule outside calibration services as required
- Review / Approve outside Calibration reports
- Maintain current Calibration records
- Maintain Calibration Records Archive
- Maintain control and traceability of Calibration Standards
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Educational Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two years’ experience in related field
- Calibration Technician I
- Perform calibrations on basic equipment such as times, calipers, etc.
- Read and understand all internal calibration procedures
- Basic understanding of NIST/17025
- Good Math Skills
- Basic Computer skills
- Advanced understanding of ISO 17025
- Communicates with outside
- Advanced Math Skills
- Perform calibrations on more complex equipment such as comparators,
- Advanced understanding of ISO 17025
- Communicates with outside calibration providers
- Manage the master calibration list
- Advanced computer skills
- Sitting, some standing and bending
- Unassisted lifting of up to 45 lbs.
- Good vision and hand-eye coordination are essential
