What are the responsibilities and job description for the Paint Prep position at Biomerics?
Description:
Prepares parts and sprays paint and conductive coatings on plastic parts at the direction of the Paint Shop Supervisor in a manner to ensure quality parts to shipping.
Requirements:- Assists lead in ensuring that incoming part surfaces are prepped correctly to ensure full paint coverage.
- Required to perform primer removal, masking, part hanging, and any other prep needed in paint shop as required.
- Assists lead in ensuring incoming sanded parts match quantities listed on paint production schedule.
- Follows all company safety policies and procedures.
- Completes training per Biomerics Training Matrix – Sanding/Paint Prep.
- Additional duties as assigned by supervisor.
- High school diploma.
- Entry Level with 0 – 2 years’ experience.
- Experience spraying class A and textured finishes.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Excellent reliability and attendance.
- Team player, with a positive attitude.
- Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.
