Role Description:
The Commercial Sr. Analyst (Sr. Analyst) will support the Finance Director of Commercial in the development of a new finance function within Biomerics that supports the newly created commercial functions. The Sr. Analyst role will provide focused support to an assigned ‘Group’ of Biomerics (Metals, Plastics, or International/Transfers). Responsibilities include but are not limited to, development and implementation of pricing strategy, analysis, and maintenance; development of tools to meet profit goals, comply with company policies and adhere to customer agreements; and ad hoc business case preparation and presentation for customer acquisition of new business. This individual will be responsible for leading the pricing administration team and developing processes that drive consistency and continuous improvement in our pricing, quoting and business case processes.
The Sr. Analyst is a self-starter with excellent communication skills. The Sr. Analyst must have a strong drive and track record of creating relationships across an organization. It is expected the Sr. Analyst can collaborate cross functionally, with various stakeholders and peers. Primary business partners include Commercial Directors, Executive Account Owners, Group/Plant Controllers, OU Supply Chain and Operations Leadership.
The Sr. Analyst will inherit limited standard operating procedures and tools to execute the below job responsibilities. It is expected the Sr. Analyst will collaborate with the Finance Director and his/her finance peers to develop processes, controls, and tools required to successfully execute the needs of the newly developed Commercial Finance Function. The Sr. Analyst will support the development of these functions by integrating best practices to overcome disparate practices used in the past at each individual site.

Major Responsibilities
- Business partner for assigned commercial group’s directors and account executives. Serve as liaison between OUs and Commercial Function.
- Play an instrumental role in the development and implementation of commercial senior management P&Ls and subsequent budgeting, planning, and spend management
- Support the development of tools for price modeling and strategy
- Support development of governance processes, floors, deal review, and approvals with the goal to improve outcomes to increase profitability and achieve multi year strategic goals.
- Creation and ongoing management of pricing maintenance through collaboration with OUs, Contracting and Commercial teams
- Perform revenue and margin modeling to set new product price targets
- Develop execution plans (account planning), tracking metrics, and analytics post launch
- Prepare business cases to support the cash funding of large investments for customer acquisitions of new business.
- Influence plant utilization of cash by driving higher velocity KPIs with improved turnover of cash.
- Make continued recommendations on the developing functions at the BSC & Corporate Controlling functions with the Senior Finance team
- As appropriate, provide support for developing deal models associated with technology acquisition or manufacturing transfers
- 5 years experience in a similar role
- Highly skilled in analytics and proficient with Advanced Excel functions
- Bachelor's or Master's degree with a focus on business analytics, finance or accounting
- Certifications such as CFA, FMVA is a bonus but not required
- Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong demonstrated commitment to teamwork
