Description
1 Primary Purpose and Overall Objective of the Job:
Perform preventative maintenance fine tuning and spectral checks of VITEK MS systems within the U.S.
2 Main Accountabilities:
- Provide ongoing support of VITEK MS systems within the U.S. by performing simultaneous fine tuning and spectral checks, including troubleshooting as indicated.
- Assist with coordination and maintaining the routine fine tuning customer schedule.
- Answer internal and external customer inquiries and ensure documentation of activities in ERP system, consulting as appropriate with Application Specialist, System Engineer, Management, and Global Customer Support.
- Provide consistent follow up to ensure customer satisfaction and meet minimum key performance indicators.
- Work a flexible schedule to meet customer needs for fine tunings of the VITEK MS.
- Participate in revenue generation initiatives through promotion of value-added projects and services.
- Develop problem solving and troubleshooting skills for remote / phone support.
3 Typical Studies-Experience, Skills, and Qualifications:
3.1 Studies-Experience:
- Associates Degree in technical or life science field, or equivalent work experience.
- Broad based knowledge of Customer Service, including providing a high level of customer satisfaction.
3.2 Skills and Qualifications:
- Demonstrate ability to work independently and in a team environment, effectively multitask to meet deadlines and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Windows OS and MS Office programs
- Exhibit sound decision-making ability, including problem resolution and troubleshooting
- Excellent interpersonal and diplomacy skills; excellent verbal and written capabilities

- Financial Indicators (revenue, budget, etc.) : Departmental Revenue contributions and OPEX budget control.
- Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Customer Satisfaction, Required number of Fine Tunings, Notification Closure goal
- Key Contacts (internal/external) and Interfaces: All necessary internal and external contacts needed to resolve customer questions or complaints.
