Description : The Director will play a critical role in ensuring price consistency, competitiveness, and value alignment, overseeing the entire pricing process. As part of the marketing leadership team, you will ensure that pricing strategies are aligned with customer needs, value propositions, and broader business objectives, positioning pricing as a pivotal lever for growth and differentiation. This individual will report directly to the VP of Marketing and work closely with cross-functional teams to drive pricing strategy and revenue optimization.

Responsibilities :

  • Strategic Pricing Framework : Design and implement US pricing strategies rooted in market trends, customer value, and revenue optimization principles.
  • Customer Value Modeling : Conduct in-depth analysis of price elasticity and sensitivity to drive data-informed pricing decisions and revenue forecasts.
  • Market Integration : Establish dynamic pricing models that reflect evolving market demands through market research and competitive intelligence.
  • Value-Based Pricing : Develop pricing methodologies that connect customer value to business outcomes, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
  • Governance and Compliance : Establish and oversee robust pricing governance frameworks to ensure consistency, transparency, and compliance across all pricing activities.
  • Innovative Pricing Approaches : Drive the adoption of forward-thinking pricing models to capture emerging market opportunities.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership : Collaborate with finance, sales, and commercial teams to align pricing initiatives with organizational priorities.
  • Performance Monitoring and Optimization : Collaborate with Commercial Operations to establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for pricing effectiveness.

Experience :

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 8 years of experience in pricing strategy, revenue management, or a related field, ideally within the life sciences or healthcare industry.
  • Demonstrated experience in building and implementing pricing strategies and systems.
  • Expertise in value-based pricing, elasticity modeling, and customer behavior analytics.
  • Proven ability to link pricing strategy with market positioning and customer value.
  • Strong analytical skills with expertise in data-driven decision-making.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency with pricing software, ERP systems, and data analysis tools.
