Pay Range:

All internship positions are designed to give college students an opportunity to apply techniques learned in an academic setting while obtaining new skills. This is a paid internship offering full-time hours during the summer months. All interns are required to conclude the program by giving a formal presentation on their work. Please note that no relocation assistance or sponsorship is provided for the internship program at this time.
This is a full time-paid internship. $18/hr based in our Devens, MA facility.
Position Summary:
In the stability intern role, you will spend time in a regulated laboratory environment. You will support the stability testing program for blood gas and chemistry, glucose, and support general design of experiments related to research work.
Key Responsibilities:
Follow company policies and practices as outlined in the Handbook, SOPs and Wis.
Follow guidelines regarding safety as outlined in the safety program and in accordance to the job function
Manage time well.
Willingness to accept changes in work from day-to-day within reasonable and expected boundaries.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Perform various low to medium complexity laboratory procedures.
Perform testing and document results for blood chemistry, blood gas, co-oximetry, diabetes markers and coagulation testing.
Help to develop and perform internship project related tasks.
Responsible for minor medical device instrument maintenance tasks.
Receive instruction and guidance from the laboratory technicians with ability to work independently.
Enter data accurately into manual logs, spreadsheets or database systems.
Opportunity to present on internship project at virtual multi-site symposium at end of summer.
Program Requirements:
Must be a currently enrolled student pursuing a Bachelor's degree in a field relevant to the internship
Must have completed (at minimum) the sophomore year of college
Must be able to work full-time during the duration of the internship program
