As a Corrective & Preventative Actions (CAPA) Investigator supporting quality assurance, you will be responsible for investigating and leading corrective and preventative actions (CAPAs) across the organization to improve processes, mitigate risks, and maintain regulatory compliance in Houston, Texas.
Responsibilities:
- Ensuring that the organization identifies, addresses, and prevents quality-related issues efficiently
- Leading and being responsible for the entire CAPA process, including initiation, investigation, implementation oversight, and verification stages
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including production, and engineering, to collect information and propose effective CAPAs
- Conducting comprehensive technical investigations and producing clear, well-structured investigation reports, incorporating technical details, root cause analysis, corrective actions, preventive actions, and verification activities while ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree with 4 years of experience or
- Associate's Degree with 6 years of experience
- Hight School Degree with 10 years of experience
- Degree in Quality Assurance, Engineering, Life Sciences, or related field
- Experience in a manufacturing, quality, or warehouse environment
- Proficiency in root cause analysis methodologies (e.g., 5 Whys, Fishbone Diagrams, etc.)
- The ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English
