Position Summary :

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Process Technician to join our consumables operations team. This role requires expertise in the setup, testing, operation, and adjustment of various manufacturing processes, with a special focus on cartridge assembly. The successful candidate will be instrumental in ensuring efficient end-to-end processing of our high-quality products and will play a key role in supporting engineering requirements and continuous process improvements.

Key Responsibilities :

Safely operate and maintain complex assembly and process equipment, focusing extensively on cartridge assembly processes.
Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for cartridge assembly, ensuring products meet stringent quality and production targets.
Design, troubleshoot, and maintain chemical and mechanical process lines integral to cartridge production.
Set up, calibrate, and manage the assembly and disassembly of laboratory and production instruments and equipment related to cartridge processing.
Conduct, compile, and interpret results from chemical and physical experiments, tests, and analyses, particularly those related to cartridge products, to support research and development.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment by implementing and upholding strict safety and 5S standards.
Regularly run analytical tests, meticulously record results, and perform robust data analysis to enhance cartridge production processes.
Assist engineering staff with the development and implementation of new designs and improvements in cartridge assembly and release these enhancements to production.
Engage in continuous improvement activities, participate in or lead Lean Six Sigma projects, and contribute to the overall enhancement of production efficiency and product quality.

Experience, Education, and Skills Required :

Minimum of 3 years of related technical experience in a process-oriented manufacturing environment, with a strong preference for experience in pharmaceutical, medical device, semiconductor assembly, or petrochemical fields.

Associate's degree in a technical discipline such as mechanical or process engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Demonstrated experience with mechanical, electrical, and chemical assembly processes, especially those involving cartridge assembly.

Proficiency in reading technical drawings, work instructions, and manufacturing documentation.

Hands-on experience with CAD software (e.g., PRO E, Creo, CATIA, SolidWorks), CNC programming, and PLC programming is highly desirable.

Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of producing detailed reports and participating effectively in team settings.

Must be adaptable to rapid changes in priorities and manage multiple tasks effectively in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Work Environment :

The position is primarily onsite with a standard day shift schedule.

Occasional travel (up to 5%) may be required for training or project collaboration across facilities.

The role involves frequent exposure to a noisy environment, handling of hazardous materials, and operation within both laboratory and office settings.
