Research Associate I/II (Temp-to-Hire)

Position Summary:
BioPhase is seeking a motivated and skilled Research Associate I/II to support laboratory research activities for a life sciences client. This is a temporary position with the potential for hire. The selected candidate will contribute to critical research efforts involving molecular biology techniques, sample processing, and data analysis.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct laboratory-based research, including RNA extraction, qPCR, and other molecular biology techniques.
- Perform small rodent handling and surgical procedures (if experienced).
- Process tissue samples and analyze experimental data.
- Maintain accurate laboratory records and documentation.
- Collaborate with team members to meet project goals in a fast-paced research environment.
Requirements:
- B.S./M.S. degree in Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience with molecular biology techniques is strongly preferred.
- Experience with rodent handling or surgery is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
