Where do you fit in? This team needs a Creative Director to lead best-in-class content delivery of all brand marketing creative efforts including web, email, paid and organic social, photo, video, print, brochures, trade publications, packaging, tradeshow, and in-store experience. This role is responsible for the vision, strategy, and quality of all brand representation and its impact on the business objectives. The role requires a mindset of constant improvement, awareness of competitors and trends in and outside of the industry, and a passion for innovation. This role will be vital for helping us accelerate brand growth and realize our full potential.

THE ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • This vital role demands a hands-on creative leader who can refine our brand vision, provide cross-medium art direction, elevate our brand standards, and guide our team of designers.
  • Lead, manage, and grow the creative team that includes internal staff and distributed teams across our agency partners.
  • Manage creative operations to ensure a high standard of quality, efficiency, and output aligned with our brand and business objectives.
  • Conceptualize, brief, and produce content with the in-house team or outside agencies for photo & video to be used in web, email, organic and paid social, and all customer touchpoints.
  • Oversee all aspects of the user experience for both DTC “direct-to-consumer” (home users) and B2B (licensed professionals), partnering closely with eCommerce.
  • Monitor creative performance, identifying and executing opportunities to increase productivity and efficiency for both creative output and processes.
  • Lead the creative campaign development of global product launches and sales promotions/incentives that support customer acquisition and retention initiatives.
  • Deliver and refine ongoing ad creatives that drive engagement and compel purchases.
  • Continuous analysis and improvement of content based on performance marketing data.
  • Oversee ongoing design and development of print packaging design & delivery.
  • Responsible for delivering Celluma’s first-ever physical retail store experience.
  • Responsible for the creative team’s impact on business objectives, partnering closely with Product, Marketing, Sales, Regulatory, Ops, and executives to optimize outcomes and process.
  • Identify & lead new opportunities to elevate each customer touchpoint through incorporation of emerging trends and digital innovations that yield creative and commercial outcomes.
  • Lead creative meetings, strategic brainstorming sessions, creative briefs, campaign development, and end-to-end execution across all digital & non-digital mediums.
  • Instill an emotional connection to the Celluma brand, mission, education, and products through the execution of compelling storytelling in all forms of content delivery.
  • Manage the creative department budget including personnel, equipment, photo shoots, freelance vendors, contract employees, and outsourced creative projects.
  • Oversee the development and enhancement of our brand image across multiple channels – ensure consistency, quality, and relevance.
  • Ensure relevant and appropriate content for a FDA-regulated medical devices, and differentiated approaches between consumer & professional B2B marketing.
  • Support Celluma’s international markets and distributors by providing market specific versions of creative assets.
Requirements:

THE QUALIFIERS

  • A degree in Marketing Communications, Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or related field or equivalent combination of professional, visual creative experience.
  • 8 years of agency or in-house experience.
  • 4 years leading creative teams and overall delivery
  • Proven track record of leading & delivering successful brand campaigns
  • An accessible online portfolio of your past work, demonstrating how your design approach was applied to solve business problems
  • Ability to executive creative campaigns across all mediums photo, video, and graphic design
  • Experience leading staff and agencies through re-branding efforts, elevating brand identity, brand voice and overall brand aesthetic.
  • eCommerce & Digital Marketing experience
  • Demonstrated experience blending design and business goals into content that drives sales
  • Ability to coach & mentor, work as an individual contributor, project manage, and solve cross-functional business problems
  • Expert level Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator skills and incorporating new AI-driven tools.
  • Experience leading branding & logo design and skilled with vector graphics.
  • Industry experience with consumer products and online retail
  • Hands-on experience working within design systems such as Figma or InVision

WE’RE THRILLED IF YOU HAVE THIS TOO…

  • Experience in multi-channel, leading both DTC and B2B eCommerce design initiatives
  • Consumer retail experience in the health and wellness or beauty industry
  • Industry experience with FDA regulated medical devices
  • Comfortable using a professional camera for in-house photo & video production

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

The anticipated salary range for this position is $130,000-$160,000, plus bonus, with stretch bonus opportunity based on company performance. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, knowledge, skills and other factors permitted by law. A range of medical, dental, vision, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and/or other benefits also are available.?
