As a Procurement Specialist, you’ll play a critical role in managing the purchasing process, ensuring our clients receive accurate materials oon time. You’ll be a trusted advisor, a proactive problem solver, and a resourceful self-starter who thrives in a dynamic, growing company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Owning the Procurement Process: Process and track client orders with precision and urgency, prioritizing critical purchases to ensure seamless delivery.
- Managing Supplier Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, negotiate better pricing, and explore cost-saving opportunities.
- Delivering an Exceptional Client Experience: Serve as a key point of contact, providing real-time updates on orders, pricing, and requisition status while proactively identifying and addressing potential challenges.
- Solving Problems Proactively: Use strong critical thinking skills to research, troubleshoot, and resolve procurement-related issues efficiently.
- Optimizing Procurement Efficiency: Identify trends, suggest alternative suppliers, and contribute to cost-saving initiatives.
- Working Cross-Functionally: Collaborate with internal teams in a fast-moving, ever-evolving environment where flexibility and teamwork are key to client success.
- Driving Continuous Improvement: Stay curious, ask the right questions, and seek opportunities to enhance processes and drive efficiency.
Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail and ability to process orders accurately in a fast-moving environment.
- Agility and adaptability, comfortable navigating change and shifting priorities as business needs evolve.
- Excellent time management and multitasking skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Outstanding communication skills (written and verbal) for effective interactions with clients and suppliers.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook; experience with procurement software is a plus.
- Resilience and collaboration, ability to work well with a team, support colleagues, and seek solutions proactively.
- Self-starter mentality, takes initiative, identifies gaps, and contributes beyond immediate responsibilities.
- Prior purchasing or procurement experience is preferred but not required, we value problem-solving ability and a willingness to learn.
