Job Description
We are looking for a Laboratory Supervisor to join the team at our laboratory in Elmwood Park, NJ
Schedule : Mon-Thurs 12 : 00pm - 8 : 00pm, Fri 12 : 00pm - 4 : 00pm, Sun 9 AM - 12 Noon
Position Summary :
The Laboratory Supervisor is responsible for management of daily laboratory operations, environment, and work processes according to standard operating procedures.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Is accessible to testing personnel at all times testing is performed to provide on-site, telephone, or electronic support.
- Provides day-to day supervision of personnel performing high complexity testing.
- Must be on-site to provide direct supervision when high complexity testing is performed by certain individuals.
- Monitors test analyses and specimen examinations to ensure that acceptable levels of analytic performances are maintained.
- Resolving technical problems and ensuring remedial actions are taken whenever test systems deviate from the laboratory established performance specifications.
- Ensuring patient test results are not reported until corrective action has been taken and test system is functioning properly.
- Providing orientation and training to all testing personnel
- Annually evaluating and documenting the performance of all testing personnel (competency assessment)

Compensation Range
The anticipated compensation for this position is USD $90,000.00 / Yr. - USD $120,000.00 / Yr. depending on experience and qualifications.
Salary : $90,000 - $120,000
