What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead Program Manager position at Bios Companies?
A Bios Lead Program Manager is the leader for a residential team that supports 15-20 people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The lead program manager is the immediate supervisor for all Program Level Program Managers (PLPMs). You’ll interview, hire and supervise the PLPMs who manage the programs of the people you support. Most Lead Program Managers have around 10 direct reports. Strong verbal and written communication skills, good organization, the ability to teach and train and inspiring leadership are important to this part of the job.
In addition to supervising PLPMs, Lead Program Managers provide oversight to the programmatic and financial aspects of the programs of the people they support. Good organization, ability to work with strict deadlines, basic math and computer skills are needed for this part of the position. All computer applications are easily learned by people who are familiar with Window and IOS based word processing, spread sheet and other applications.
Finally, Lead Program Managers are liaisons with the members of the support teams of the people we support. Good communication skills, customer relations and good organization skills are important here.
Job Requirements :
- Must have a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in the field.
- Must have experience working with individuals that have developmental disabilities.
- Excellent leadership skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Operating knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and basic computer skills
