As an Area Director at Bios, you will have the privilege and responsibility of providing effective leadership and creating effective programs that assist people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in achieving positive control over their lives and full citizenship within their communities.
The successful candidate will ensure the delivery of high-quality services for persons served, manage assigned employees, and oversee all aspects of the local area office.
This position promotes the philosophies and values of Bios and the delivery of gentle, person-centered supports in all aspects of service provision assigned by the state.
The Area Director position is instrumental in carrying out the strategic objectives of the organization related to service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain responsibility for all operational activities of Bios of Tulsa and execute them in accordance with Bios, DIDD, and MCO policies, procedures, and expectations.
- Supervise and monitor the progress of all Tulsa and surrounding areas staff, including teaching and monitoring accountability.
- Ensure Bios expectations for weekly, monthly, quarterly supervisory meetings occur as required, including quarterly social events providing opportunities for quality connections.
- Execute procedures, training, and oversight activities to facilitate employee knowledge of the people supported, their programs, and Bios, DIDD, and MCO policy and procedures.
