Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Building Systems Maintenance Specialist to join our team at our Class A Life Science campus. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing building systems, maintenance & repair, facility management and preventive maintenance activities on a daily basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical and fire suppression systems
- Coordinate maintenance and repair activities with external contractors
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime
- Engage directly with tenants on-site to provide engineering support and resolve issues promptly
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the life sciences industry
- Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance and repair practices
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Relevant certifications or licenses, such as HVAC certification
