This role requires a dynamic individual capable of working effectively with all levels of the organization including leadership. The successful candidate will manage data and projects, lead all aspects of HR processes for various segments of the organization, and identify HR interventions to support strategic objectives. Key attributes for this role include strong leadership, the ability to navigate ambiguity, excellent analytical skills, the ability to see connections across the organization, and sound HR judgment and decision-making abilities.

- Work closely with the site HR Business Partner to drive site initiatives and objectives.
- Facilitate onboarding / offboarding employees, including facilitation of onsite orientations for new and transferring employees.
- Direct site employees to appropriate HR resources.
- Develop solid relationships with HR Centers of Excellence partners (e.g. Discover Onboarding, Compensation, Employee Relations, HR technology, Recruiting)
- Strong engagement with HR LRL Team to drive HR project work, task assignments, and Workday HR reporting of metrics / analytics.
- Ensure site is aligned with California Employment Laws including posters, practices and other legal requirements.
- Provide HR related support for the site student programs, including internships, apprenticeships, career fairs, etc.
- Exhibit strong confidentiality practices.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills and notable ability to build and maintain good working relationships.
- Must be capable of thriving under pressure, effectively managing tight deadlines, multiple priorities, and maintaining high standards.
