Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated research associate level technician to report into Takeda's Structural Biology organization. In collaboration with structural biology personnel, this person will participate in managing crystallization and cryoEM laboratories, including operation of crystallization robotics and software systems as well as ensuring laboratory safety compliance, consumable materials stocking and equipment maintenance are met.
The successful candidate be responsible for the following :
- Management of multiple laboratory spaces utilizing specialized structural biology equipment (crystallization robotics and cryoEM instrumentation)
- Coordinate with Takeda research support groups to ensure all laboratory operations needs are met, including all laboratory safety requirements and waste management, consumable needs and instrument maintenance
- Coordination of shipping, receiving and storage of laboratory samples, including protein samples and cold storage (LN2) dewars
- With on-site training, independently operate crystallization robotics systems, including liquid handlers, imagers, sample hotels and automation arms and ensure documentation of experiments in LIMS systems and electronic notebooks

U.S. Base Salary Range :
67,900.00 - $106,700.00
The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and / or from which they will be performing the job.The actual base salary offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.
