The Global Clinical Development Operations (GCDO) has expanded to a single function across all therapeutic areas to enable consistent ways of working, great efficiency and improved performance by our partners and suppliers. This function encompasses Clinical Operations program management across all therapeutic areas, Study Management, Business Operations, Process Excellence and Delivery, Centralized Diligence and RATIO support and Partnership Health and Supplier Management.
The hybrid-based summer internship within the Global Clinical Development Operations (GCDO) group offers a dynamic opportunity to support and enhance the operational strategy of GCDO. The intern will gain hands-on experience by contributing to daily activities and engaging in cross-functional projects that are integral to the group's operating model. Under the guidance of GCDO management, the intern will collaborate with teams across Business Operations, Partnership Health and Supplier Management, and Process Excellence and Delivery to drive impactful outcomes.

The estimated hourly range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual hourly wage offered will depend on the candidate’s school year/level to be entered following completion of internship.The actual hourly wage offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.

- Support the planning and execution of cross-functional initiatives aligned with GCDO's strategic goals.
- Assist with daily operations, including data analysis, reporting, and process improvements.
- Collaborate with Business Operations, Partnership Health and Supplier Management, and Process Excellence and Delivery teams to drive project execution and implement enhancements.
- The intern will take on a combination of routine departmental tasks and developmental assignments, gaining hands-on experience with operational planning, process management, and the tracking and reporting of business objectives. Through these responsibilities, the intern will develop essential skills and build professional relationships, all while receiving mentorship and guidance to foster career growth.

- This position will be Hybrid and require 2-3 days in the Cambridge office per week.
- Must be pursuing an Undergraduate, Graduate, PhD, MD degree with completion of a minimum of one year of university studies.

- Must be currently enrolled in a degree program graduating December 2025 or later
- The internship program is 10-12 weeks depending on the two start dates (June 2nd- August 22nd) or (June 16th - August 29th)
- The intern must be able to commit to one of these time frames
- Able to work full time 40 hours a week during internship dates
- Takeda does not provide a housing stipend or relocation support for the U.S Summer Internship Program
