The purpose of the Associate Director – EWI Digital Compliance role is to support ongoing initiatives to ensure digital compliance for all non-Enterprise Web InitSativie (EWI) websites. The associate director is responsible for leading and supporting department-level processes to enable the development and implementation of non-EWI websites in accordance with regulatory requirements and compliance and governance strategies. Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location. The anticipated wage for this position is
$122,250 - $179,300
Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance). Key Objectives/Deliverables
- Provide operational support and monitor processes to assess, audit, and facilitate risk and compliance reviews across the third-party/non-EWI websites effectively.
- Support third-party sites to meet regulatory (e.g., privacy), compliance, and technical requirements by directing them to appropriate process, procedures, and guidance documents.
- Support the Website/Mobile App governance by acting as the expert on website global processes, collaborating with Tech@Lilly, various cross-functional teams across the US and IBU, brand teams, legal / privacy, and external agencies to guarantee the successful launch, and/or updates of global websites.
- Understand common website compliance requirements (e.g., cookie/digital tracking technology requirements, consent and privacy notice obligations, accessibility) and be able to relay those requirements to cross-functional teams and external agencies
- Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers who manage non-EWI websites ensure seamless, prompt delivery of deliverables (e.g. consent widget implementation, cookie approvals, accessibility, masterbrand deliverables)
- Establish and implement processes to evaluate and mitigate risks or other non-compliance gaps and communicate critical compliance-driven updates
- Proactively identify ways to steadily progress improve the productivity, efficiency, and quality associated with risk evaluations and compliance requirements
- Understand and apply Lilly's website and app processes and help operationalize new processes that support the digital enterprise.
- Create reporting for key compliance metrics
- Lead through barriers, proactively seek solutions, and manage conflicts to facilitate a smooth transition to future states, ensuring alignment with stakeholders.
- Deliver effective communication, both oral and written, so that compliance requirements are efficiently understood and effectively implemented.
- Identify and resolve issues proactively, partnering with internal and external teams to deliver compliant and efficient websites and mobile apps.
- Work with internal and external partners to simplify complex situations into effective solutions.
- Demonstrate the ability to work cross-functionally and bring teams together to implement timely solutions.
- Bachelors degree
- 5 years of operations, project management, digital development, or digital marketing experience
- Experience in at least one of the following Lilly functional groups: Marketing, Procurement, Compliance, Privacy, Third Party Risk Management, Quality, Digital Engagement, Tech@Lilly, or other marketing support organizations

- Demonstrated process/systems management experience
- Knowledge of digital development lifecycle, compliance adherence, and technology solutions
- Demonstrated strong teamwork with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
