The Position
To provide an engineering student marketable experience related to engineering fundamentals, facilities maintenance, system troubleshooting, basic project management, change management, engineering documentation, construction and system start-up within a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility.
The Early Talent Program will require on-site work at our West Lebanon, NH facility.
Program Start: May 27, 2025.
Program End: August 15, 2025.
Onsite required; hours of the position are Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm.
Relationships
Reports to the Facilities Engineering Manager. Directly supports a business or a function. Contacts are primarily within immediate work unit but may include internal departments, visitors and customers. Build relationships with other participants in the Summer Early Talent Internship Program.

Essential Functions
- Support project design/ project development/ construction
- Support contractor selection and equipment procurement
- Support Utilities, Systems and Equipment (troubleshooting/start up)
- Development of engineering documentation packages and project close-drawings
- Drawing field walk downs including P&ID, ARC, Electrical Panel Schedule
- Facilities maintenance activities
- Perform all job duties and responsibilities in a compliant and ethical manner and in accordance with all applicable healthcare laws, regulations, and industry codes.
- Incorporates the Novo Nordisk Way and 10 Essentials in all activities and interactions with others
- Other duties as assigned
- Must be currently attending an accredited four-year college or university pursing a Bachelor's or Master's degree with a related Engineering major
- Strong academic record with a preferred cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Experience Level: 0-1 years of relevant experience required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Conscientious self-starter with good organizational skills, project management skills and attention to detail
- Ability to balance multiple projects and priorities, must be able to multi-task
- Strong interpersonal communication and ability to collaborate with teams; must effectively operate independently, across functional lines, and with internal customers
- Demonstrated personal initiative, self-motivation, flexibility, adaptability and willingness to learn
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
