Organization Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Lab Automation Integration Engineer to join the Automation Team at the Lilly Technology Center North in Indianapolis, Indiana. The successful candidate will have a foundational knowledge of GMP lab automation data integration architecture and infrastructure, working to leverage automation to accelerate, improve, and facilitate workflows.

The Lab Automation Team in the AQCO develops and deploys technologies to modernize and improve analytical analyses in quality control laboratories. Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location. The anticipated wage for this position is
$63,000 - $162,800
Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance). Responsibilities
The Lab Automation Team in the AQCO develops and deploys technologies to modernize and improve analytical analyses in quality control laboratories. The Integration Engineer will be responsible for developing, deploying, and supporting lab automation data integration, architectures, and infrastructure for our global automation platforms. You will have the opportunity to:
- Design data architecture and infrastructure for analytical equipment platforms.
- Develop data/process workflows, verification testing plans and computer system validation documentation packages.
- Navigate technical issues with Global IT Support team to evaluate solutions.
- Ensure all safety, quality and regulatory requirements follow standards and agencies such as: ISO, GAMP5, cGMP and FDA
- Collaborate with all stakeholders to ensure consistent practices between global laboratories.
- Execute deployment activities and site implementation including installation verification instructions (IVIs), training/transfer, and documentation, audit trails, on-site troubleshooting.
- BS/MS in Engineering, Computer Science, Biology, Chemistry or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of industry experience working with analytical equipment computer system validation and remediation in GMP analytical testing laboratories or equivalent.
- Demonstrated ability to utilize and implement various tools, systems, and processes resulting in improved operational excellence of laboratory and business operations.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively to customers, business partners, and staff including good oral, written, and visual presentations.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply solutions to different situations by understanding customer needs and applying strong problem-solving skills.
- Proven Ability to influence diverse groups and effectively manage relationships,
- Thorough technical understanding of the GMP quality systems and regulatory requirements.
