Position Brand Description
The Lead - Warehouse Ops in Warehousing Operations is responsible for providing technical and operational leadership to Parenteral Warehouse Operation Team. The Lead - Warehouse Ops is responsible for the safety, quality, performance, and development of the employees in their area of responsibility. They are directly involved in ensuring customer service to all customers. They are a key contact for technical information for their team. Prioritization of department and team tasks and projects is also the responsibility of the Lead - Warehouse Ops. The position reports to the manager. The minimum length of time in this position is 3 years per current guidelines.

Key Objectives / Deliverables
- Responsible for maintaining a safe work environment, leading safety initiatives, and working safely and accountable for supporting all HSE Corporate and Site Goals.
- Provides coaching and direction for employees in areas of responsibility.
- Assist in Human Resource related issues such as Attendance Management, Performance Management Process etc.
- Assigns daily and weekly work schedules to departmental employees.
- Capable of functioning in Leader capacity in absence of Leader as required.
- Routinely inspects area for health and safety issues.
- Assist with Implementation of countermeasures from safety incident investigations.
- Work with Supervisor and Safety representatives to implement Safety Projects.
- Aids in reviewing, updating, and creating procedures.
- Involved in deviation investigations that affect area of responsibility.
- Aid Leader in ensuring team members are trained appropriately (LP Performance).
- Participate in Housekeeping and Quality initiatives and audits. Provides leadership for compliance to FDA, EMEA, DEA, OSHA, IDEM, and EPA regulations.
- Support customers with high customer service and focus. Meet appropriate goals for performance improvement for their area of responsibility.
- Hold the group accountable for results.
- Actively support training efforts in the area.
- Previous demonstration of strong leadership skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Solid understanding of quality and corporate policies
- Solid understanding of the importance of and basic requirements of Regulatory agencies such as the FDA, EMEA, OSHA and EPA
- Demonstrated solid judgment and initiative
- Enthusiastic, positive attitude, flexible and willing to work overtime
- Strong Computer Skills
- Responsible for maintaining a safe work environment, working safely and accountable for supporting all HSE Corporate and Site Goals.
- Previous experience in supervising people is desired
- Previous warehouse / logistics experience in a GMP environment
- LMS / PMX experience.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Overtime and flexibility in shift will be required.
- This role has opportunity for direct interaction with Regulatory Agencies during Site Inspections.
