Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location. The anticipated wage for this position is
$151,500 - $222,200
Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance). Key Objectives / Deliverables
- Responsible for maintaining a safe work environment, leading safety initiatives, and working safely and accountable for supporting all HSE Corporate and Site Goals.
- Provide leadership to TS/MS organization for technical and administrative issues.
- Performance management and development of staff.
- Assure that appropriately trained and qualified staff are in place to provide day to day support and project support for new and existing products.
- Represent the TS/MS organization at the different building leadership teams within Indy Parenteral (i.e., Operational Flow Teams, Science / Engineering Teams, and Quality Lead Team).
- Develop and utilize reward and recognition initiatives for staff.
- Ensure that focus on the building’s needs from a TS/MS perspective is maintained.
- Prioritize productivity and compliance improvements.
- Bachelor’s Degree in scientific disciplines of Chemistry, Biology, Pharmacy, Engineering or other related field.
- 10 years of related pharmaceutical leadership experience.
- Prior experience in TS/MS, Parenteral Filling, Visual Inspection, and/or Validation.
- Prior experience in technical leadership roles.
- Ability to prioritize efforts.
- Effective written and oral communication skills.
- Effective interpersonal skills.
- General understanding of manufacturing and cGMPs.
- Prior experience in Parenteral manufacturing.
- Responsible for maintaining a safe work environment, working safely and accountable for supporting all HSE Corporate and Site Goals.
- 8-hour days, Monday through Friday
- Overtime will be required
- Required to be available off shift and respond to operational issue as needed
- Minimal travel required
- Applicant will work in various areas within the Parenteral Plant. Some allergens are present in the parenteral plant. Mobility requirements and exposure to allergens should be considered when applying for this position.
