Job Description:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical equipment and systems to support bio-pharmaceutical manufacturing.
- Diagnose electrical issues in automation control systems and resolve issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- Test and calibrate electrical and automation systems, and conduct performance evaluations.
- Optimize electrical and automated systems and processes to increase efficiency, reduce downtime, and enhance product quality.
- Create and maintain clear documentation for electrical work and automation systems.
- Ensure all work complies with local and national electrical codes and safety standards.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Post High School graduate certification in electrical installation, maintenance, and repair in automated control systems and PLC programming.
- A minimum of five years of proven electrical experience in chemical, pharmaceutical, or materials processing manufacturers.
- Expertise in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment, including wiring, lighting, and control systems.
- Experience with automated process controls systems, ideally with a biopharmaceutical, chemical, food or materials manufacturing.
- Proficient in PLC programming languages, such as Siemens, Allen-Bradley, and familiarity with sensors, actuators, and other automation hardware.
