We are seeking a passionate and driven early scientific hire to join our growing team, help shape our culture, and contribute to launching our first product to market. Key Responsibilities

Experimentation & Analysis :

  • Design, execute, and optimize experiments related to novel nanoparticle concentration methods.
  • Analyze data and prepare visualizations, scientific reports, and publications.

Lab Management :

  • Establish and maintain a safe, organized, and fully operational laboratory environment.
  • Order supplies, perform safety tests, and manage waste disposal.
  • Collaboration & Culture :

  • Contribute to building a positive, inclusive, and high-impact company culture.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve shared goals.
  • Qualifications

    Required Skills :

  • Minimum of 1 year of wet lab experience in a relevant field (chemistry, materials science, biochemistry, molecular biology, etc.).
  • Proficiency with basic laboratory techniques such as pipetting, solution preparation, and buffer creation.
  • Research experience in materials science, biochemistry, or method development.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to balance multiple projects.
  • High attention to detail and a proactive, self-starter mentality.
  • Preferred Experience :

  • Expertise in developing and optimizing nanoparticle synthesis, characterization, or concentration methods.
  • Experience working with protein-based tests (ELISA, lateral flow, etc...)
  • Prior experience setting up new laboratory spaces and establishing processes.
  • Personal Attributes :

  • Excited to join an early-stage startup and contribute to its foundational success.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • A sense of urgency and drive to deliver results in a dynamic environment.
  • Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Physics, Life Sciences or a related field is required.
  • Additional education or industry experience will be considered for more senior roles.
  • Compensation

    Salary and equity will be commensurate with experience and the role.
