We are working with a growing Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) specializing in biologics development and manufacturing across both microbial and mammalian platforms.
We are seeking a highly motivated Scientist in Upstream Process Development, the ideal candidate will have a strong background in cell culture and Repligen ATF perfusion (or process intensification) with expertise in process development, optimization, and scale-up. This role will focus on designing and optimizing upstream processes to enhance biologics production efficiency and scalability.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize upstream processes for biologics production using microbial and mammalian platforms.
- Design and execute experiments to improve cell culture performance, including process intensification strategies.
- Utilize Repligen ATF perfusion technology to enhance productivity and scalability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless technology transfer from development to manufacturing.
- Analyze data, troubleshoot process challenges, and implement solutions to improve yield and efficiency.
- Support scale-up activities from bench-scale to pilot and commercial production.
- Maintain compliance with cGMP regulations and industry best practices.
Qualifications
- PhD in Biotechnology, Biochemical Engineering, or related field.
- 1-2 years of hands-on experience in cell culture and process development.
- Expertise in Repligen ATF perfusion technology or process intensification strategies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in process optimization.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
