What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Line Worker position at Biotef Chemicals?
We are looking for a dedicated Production Line Worker to join our team. The Line Worker reports to the Production Supervisor and is responsible for the production line functions and efficiency.
Line Worker Responsibilities:
- To work in a fast paced, repetitive motion production area by preparing the product to a sellable form
- Clean, set-up and operate assigned production equipment according to procedure as well as expectations for quality of finished goods, safety and capacity.
- Perform manual production tasks, including capping, stickering bottles or cartons, loading finished goods into bulk packaging, transporting products.
- Ensure quality of product in process, perform in-process quality checks.
- Read, interpret and complete production documents.
- Abide by GMP cleanliness standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area; attend to the cleanliness and organization of the department as a whole, including moving pallets of product, removing empty pallets, emptying cardboard waste bin and trash bins, as well as performing daily and weekly cleaning procedures.
- Function successfully both as an individual and a team member.
- Performs other duties as directed by supervisor
Line Worker Requirements:
- Position requires lifting and/or carrying up to 50 lbs throughout the day.
- Position requires standing for 8 or more hours
- Strong attention to detail
- Must have the ability to communicate, read, and write
- Must have the ability to learn and understand oral and written instruction.
- Must be dependable; have an acceptable work record including attendance.
- Must have a strong desire to work and have reliable transportation.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 per hour
