This is a 1st shift position Monday-Friday 7a-3:30p This position performs HPLC analysis of active ingredients in raw materials, in-process blends, and finished products.
Essential responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Perform HPLC testing on stability samples
- Perform routine maintenance on HPLC instruments (Alliance and UPLC)
- Ensure that the annual qualification and calibration on the HPLC instruments is performed,
- Perform titration testing of vitamin C and amino-acid analytes
- Assist in method validation process and protocol development as needed,
- Execute general laboratory testing: pH, refractive index, moisture content, DT, dissolution, etc.
Work Requirements and Skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in chemistry or related scientific field
- Skills/knowledge of basic laboratory experimental protocols (equipment usage, terminology, etc.)
- Have 1-2 years of hands-on experience with HPLC equipment and computerized data acquisition systems.
- Experience on using Waters Alliance and /or UPLC H-Class would be a plus
- Ability to properly evaluate and interpret generated data.
- Knowledge of GMP /GLP quality guidelines and ISO 17025:2017 regulations
- Must be detail-oriented with good organizational skills and ability to multi-tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Must have basic computer skills including MS Office applications (Word and Excel).
- Must be able to work overtime when the company deems it necessary
- Good interpersonal and communications skills, and ability to work effectively in a team-based environment. Perform other related duties as assigned.
