DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- 8:00 am – 4:30 pm Monday thru Friday, hours may vary depending on the work schedule
- Work as a team member in Fulfillment and throughout facility
- Daily on time attendance
- Follow all work procedures and instructions per training and instruction by Department Supervisor.
- Conduct all quality checks and adhere to the Quality System.
- Safely operate equipment, pallet jacks and other mechanized and non-mechanized equipment per training and assignment by Department Supervisor
- Responsible for assigning work and re-assigning workers to other tasks, as appropriate in Department Supervisor’s absence.
- Help maintain the physical condition of the warehouse and storage areas at facility
- Identify and notify the Department Supervisor or any manager of any safety related issues or concerns in their department and throughout facility
- Follow instructions of department supervisor or manager in the execution of the warehousing activities
- Help to achieve quality and productivity of “On Time” service metrics for Fulfillment operations
- Work to maximize efficiency and productivity in all projects in Fulfillment assembly operations in the facility.
- Responsible to work O/T only when authorized by department Supervisor.
- Project a positive attitude and promote teamwork.
- Attend and participate in any and all daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly or annual meetings per invitation and instruction.
- Clear communication of expectations to staff in Department Supervisor’s absence.
- Assist in training, documenting and follow up of the re-training of department staff.
- Utilize our Quality Management System to promote an understanding of our customer needs and expectations
- Help promote a culture where we exceed customer expectations
- Comply with the Quality Policy & Quality Management System
- Other duties as assigned
SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Good Communication Skills
- Attention to Detail Organizational Skills
- HS Diploma or equivalent
- PC Proficient
- Read and write English, basic math skills
- All prospective employees must pass a background and drug check.
