Concetti Bagging Coordinator

Purpose:

The Concetti Bagging Coordinator operates the Concetti bagging machine by overseeing the packaging of products from the beginning of the line until the side print is applied.

Accountabilities:

• Observe equipment and panel indicators to ensure effective and efficient operation from the bag feed to the side print, including cleaning the side and back print every morning
• Perform necessary changeovers as scheduled
• Demonstrate continuous efforts to improve operational efficiencies, decrease turnaround times, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality finished product
• Start machine, observe operation, and adjust machine to ensure uniform printing, folding, gluing, or sealing into finished bags
• Routinely evaluates check-weigher during each packing run
• Ensure all packages are free of stains and dust, closed neatly and tightly, and have an accurate attached label with an accurate date code
• Monitor the online camera to ensure it is always taking a picture for each and every bag
• Check with management before departing shift
• Working cohesively with End of Line operator
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area by keeping tools and equipment in proper places and all materials off the floor of the area
• Notify management of any mechanical or material issues

Qualifications:

• Ability to pass a written and driving exam to prove capability of safely operating a forklift
• At least 2 years in the manufacturing of premixes in an industrial/manufacturing environment
• Experience managing projects Experience using Microsoft Office programs such as Word (to write business correspondence), Excel (for use of spreadsheets, reporting, simple formulas) and Outlook (for internal and external correspondence)
• Physically able to lift and move 50lb. on a regular reoccurring basis
• Willing and able to wear the necessary Personal Protection equipment (PPE) (i.e. hard hats, safety glasses, face shield, chemical suit, respirator, ear plugs, hearing protection, steel-toe boots or safety shoes and other PPE required by specific jobs)
• Willing and able to work off hours, overtime, weekends, and holidays, as needed
