Bip.Monticello is seeking a Brokerage Services Consultant who has prior experience with implementation of strategic initiatives within brokerage services (e.g., Prime Brokerage and/or Asset Servicing). Consultants at Bip.Monticello are integral to our team’s success as they work on components of large and complex programs. These consultants will be responsible for the following: providing brokerage services guidance/knowledge, producing and/or assisting with project artifacts (such as business requirements, tracking milestones, and providing status reports on progress implementation of technology platforms).
Required Skills, Experience, & Responsibilities:
- 3 years working with projects in the Capital Markets/Prime Brokerage/Asset Servicing area(s) specially in clearing, custody, settlements, securities lending, corporate actions, financing, etc.
- 3 years of Project Management/Business Analyst experience in the financial services industry at a top-tier consulting firm (e.g., Accenture, Deloitte, KPMG, EY, Sapient, etc.), global investment bank, brokerage operations entity, or Fortune 500 company.
- Manage clear expectations by establishing clear timelines, milestones, and providing transparency on risks, dependencies, and issues through status reporting.
- 2 years of experience writing/assisting with business requirements, user stories, and 1-pager updates for management.
- Hold workshops to collect business requirements with the working groups including Front Office, Middle Office, Back Office, Operations, Technology, and Compliance.
- Create process flows for current state vs. future state as needed.
- Assist with test planning, write test scripts, and conduct UAT testing.
- Analyze business processes and make recommendations for improvements.
- Responsible for understanding technology impact on the business processes.
- Understanding of the different project methodologies: Agile Project Methodology, Six Sigma, or Software Development Life Cycle.
- Experience with ALM tools (Jira, Confluence).
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Management, Business, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering preferred.
**Salary Range for role $120,000 - $150,000
