Job Description
Seeking a proactive, team-oriented C developer with a strong focus on results. This hands-on role requires strong C and SQL skills. The role is a mix of initiatives and BAU work, requiring 3 days in-office presence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and optimize C applications for trading systems, risk management, and analytics.
- Collaborate with traders, quants, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and create effective solutions.
- Implement and enhance trading algorithms, execution strategies, and real-time data processing functionalities.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure high coding standards and best practices within the team.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software issues, providing timely solutions to minimize downtime.
- Stay updated on industry trends, trading technologies, and financial instruments to inform development efforts.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
- 5 years of proven experience as a C Developer, preferably in the capital markets or trading domain.
- Strong understanding of trading systems, financial products, and market operations.
- Experience with real-time data processing and high-frequency trading strategies is a plus.
- Familiarity with development tools and methodologies (e.g., Git, Agile, TDD).
- Solid understanding of algorithms, data structures, and performance optimization techniques.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with other programming languages (e.g., Python, Java) is a plus.
- Knowledge of market data feeds and APIs (e.g., FIX protocol).
- Familiarity with database technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
**The base salary range for this role is $90,000 - $135,000**
