Job Description
Seeking a third (3rd) grade English, Language Arts Teacher / ELA for a North Carolina school near Harrisburg, North Carolina.
This ELA teacher position is a full-time W2 contract. Normal school hours apply. We are seeking a educator who has a minimum of three (3) years of experience. Must hold a full teaching license and have recent teaching experience.
Job Duties
- Facilitate learning through small groups or individualized learning.
- Encourage positive behaviors.
- Conduct age appropriate educational activities
- Responsible for teaching third graders the language arts a school setting.
- Focus on basic reading. writing, and communication skills.
- Able to teach all branches of the curriculum to third grade students.
- Prepare detail lesson plans, reports, observation notes, and student's progress.
- Create fun, and engaging curriculums.
- Promote a healthy active lifestyle to students.
- Follow the North Carolina Standard Course of Study
- Communicate with families, parents, and school staff regarding best practices.
