Job Position: Occupational Therapist

Location: Santa Clarita, CA (must be available to work on campus)

Pay Rate: Dependent on Experience

Shift: 2-3 days a week

Caseload: Preschool only (experience working in a school setting required)

Schedule: 7:30 AM - 3:00 PM

Start/End Dates: ASAP - June 13, 2025

Job Overview

We're seeking a dedicated and experienced Occupational Therapist to join a Preschool Assessment Team. This position focuses on supporting preschool-aged children with diverse needs, providing assessments, interventions, and recommendations to enhance their developmental and educational experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of preschool students to identify fine motor, sensory, and other developmental needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and interventions in collaboration with the Preschool Assessment Team.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to supporting each child’s growth and success.
• Provide direct therapy services to students, monitor progress, and adjust strategies as needed.
• Document and maintain accurate records of assessments, interventions, and progress reports in accordance with school and district policies.
• Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings to provide input on occupational therapy goals and progress.
• Serve as a resource for staff and families, offering guidance and strategies to support students in various settings.
  
  

Qualifications

• Valid California Occupational Therapist License.
• Experience working in a school setting, particularly with preschool-aged children, is required.
• Strong understanding of early childhood development and best practices in occupational therapy.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
