Birch Agency is seeking to hire a School Psychologist starting in the Fall!
Education & Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Masters degree in school psychology.
- Completed advanced/specialist degree in school psychology. (Educational)
- Completed a supervised school psychology internship
- Passed the Praxis (5402)
- North Carolina Psychology School Based (NCSPB)
- 40-hours per week
- Follow North Carolina federal and state rules and regulations regarding school psychology.
- Provide counseling and guidance to students.
- Prepare evaluations
- Work closely with parents, families, principal, and other school administrators.
- Establish a relationship with students and team.
- Provide intervention to students.
- Conduct counseling, guidance, and risk management, if needed.
- Work with the school psychology team and school Administrators
- Exhibit Leadership to students to K-12 staff.
- Provide tools for students to cope with issues.
- Attend and update families and school meetings.
