Key Responsibilities
- Conduct psychological assessments for students in grades TK - 8, including evaluations of academic, emotional, and behavioral needs.
- Provide individual and group counseling services to students, addressing mental health, behavioral, and emotional concerns.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other staff to create and implement effective intervention plans and support strategies for students.
- Provide oversight and guidance to behavior support staff, ensuring consistency and alignment with student needs.
- Support the development of IEPs (Individualized Education Plans) and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings.
- Work within a dual language (Spanish/English) program to support bilingual students and families.
- Degree in School Psychology or a related field.
- Current California credential in School Psychology (or eligibility).
- Experience working in educational settings (TK-8) preferred.
- Bilingual in Spanish/English preferred, but not required.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with behavior support and counseling services is a plus.
