Job Position : Special Education Teacher
Location : Houston, TX 77035
Description : Our Houston-based charter school client has a Special Education Teacher opportunity through the end of the school year, providing leadership and teaching services to over 30 students from K-8th Grade.
Provides students with appropriate learning activities and experiences in a creative manner that is designed to fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical and social growth. Promotes the mission and vision of the district.
- Plans a program of study that meets the individual needs, interests, and abilities of the students.
- Possesses a solid knowledge of lesson cycle(s).
- Employs strong classroom management skills and creates a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interests of the students.
