Job Position: Worl Languages Spanish Teacher

Description

Currently hiring Spanish Teacher to work in person with students in New Holland PA, for the 2025-2026 school year. The Spanish holds the primary responsibility for the implementation and development of the World Language - Spanish curriculum. This teacher will not only engage each student in learning a language but also in becoming more aware of the global community beyond their immediate surroundings.

Specific Responsibilities

• Implement curricula and activities to meet academic standards.
• Develop age-appropriate lesson plans that expose students to diverse topics in the content area and their connection to life beyond the classroom.
• Design and implement assessments that measure progress towards academic standards.
• Use assessment data to refine the curriculum and inform instructional practices.
• Participate in collaborative curriculum development, grade-level activities, and school-wide functions.
• Create a positive, structured learning environment to ensure that students observe the school’s core values, high expectations, and strict code of conduct.
• Be accountable for student's mastery of academic standards.
• Communicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues.
• Commit to continual professional growth, participating actively in department meetings, faculty meetings, and other meetings.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education or related field
• Pennsylvania Department of Education Certification in Spanish K-12
